An image appearing on SafariWild does not mean that SafariWild owns it. Reuse depends on the creator, source record and licence attached to that item.
Types of content
The site includes SafariWild text, interface design and code, together with images, maps and data published by photographers, research institutions, public bodies and open knowledge projects. The whole site is not released under one common licence.
Original text, design and marks
Unless a page says otherwise, SafariWild retains the relevant rights in its original writing, visual design, illustrations, name and marks. Public access does not place that work in the public domain or permit a complete mirror presented as an official version.
Facts and public knowledge can be cited normally. When quoting original expression, credit SafariWild and link to the page. The name and marks cannot be used to suggest an unauthorised partnership or endorsement.
External images
Many species and destination images come from traceable sources such as Wikimedia Commons. Some come from public institutions or another stated permission. Source pages, creators, original files and licence information are recorded in the full attribution list.
Confirm the current licence, attribution format, share alike terms and any separate personality, trademark or local rights.

Maps, Earth imagery and software
Interactive maps use OpenStreetMap data and display contributor attribution. Leaflet, fonts and software libraries retain their own licences. NASA Blue Marble material keeps its source note; NASA names and marks do not imply endorsement of SafariWild.
How to reuse material
First identify whether the item is SafariWild work or external material. Open the original source and check the licence version. Keep the creator, work title, source link, licence name and licence link, and note any changes. Commercial use, people, private property and marks may involve additional rights.
Requests for bulk use of original SafariWild content or brand material can be sent through the future official address on the contact page.
Corrections and removal requests
A rights holder can provide the page URL, image or file name, basis of the claim and requested action. Confirmed problems may result in corrected attribution, replacement or temporary removal.
