COMMERCIAL POLICY

How advertising
and partnerships are labelled.

This page explains the revenue methods SafariWild may use, how commercial material will be labelled and which editorial decisions remain outside partner control.

01

Possible future revenue types

DISPLAYDisplay advertising

For example, Google AdSense auto ads or fixed placements, delivered and settled under platform rules.

AFFILIATEAffiliate links

SafariWild may receive a commission when a user completes a purchase or booking through a specific link.

SPONSOREDSponsored content

A partner may provide funding or resources, but the relationship must be clearly labelled.

PRODUCTSafariWild products

Future memberships, digital content or travel-related services would state their prices and terms separately.

02

How commercial content is labelled

Ad placements, sponsored articles, gifted experiences and links that may earn commission will be labelled Advertising, Sponsored, Commercial partnership or Contains affiliate links before the user acts.

If a relationship may affect price, ordering, available benefits or the scope of coverage, that effect will also be explained. Ordinary editorial content will not be labelled as advertising simply because it mentions a brand.

03

What a partner cannot influence

  • Species conservation status, observation opportunity, seasonal windows or safety conclusions.
  • The precision of sensitive species locations and necessary ecological warnings.
  • Organic search results, independent rankings and user reviews.
  • Recommendation criteria and the disclosure of commercial relationships.

SafariWild will not accept partnerships connected to animal performances, wildlife trade, destructive tourism or misleading environmental claims.

04

Advertising should not damage the experience

If automatic advertising is introduced, we will review its density and placement. Ads should not cover the main content, imitate navigation, interfere with maps, sit beside controls that are easy to tap accidentally, or require a click or share to unlock core information.

An ad platform may choose each individual creative. SafariWild will use the platform's blocking and reporting tools, but automatic delivery does not mean that we created or endorse every ad.

05

Advertising, privacy and cookies

The site currently has no advertising cookies. If AdSense or other advertising technology is introduced, those services may use cookies or similar identifiers for delivery, frequency control, measurement and fraud prevention, depending on consent, regional rules and platform settings.

Before activation, we will update the privacy policy and cookie policy, and provide consent management or refusal controls where required. Declining personalised advertising should not prevent access to core nature information.

06

Partnership scope

Relevant areas include responsible nature travel, science education, conservation projects, outdoor equipment, photography and sustainable technology. A proposal should identify the organisation, objective, budget, deliverables, disclosure requirements and timing.

Send proposals to [email protected] with "Partnership" in the subject. We will not confirm a partnership if the organisation or brand cannot be verified.
